I have no means of testing it, but it does appear well-kept. According to a product brochure available online, it is capable of speeds up to 3000FPS. This is a heavy unit, weighing approximately 65 lbs. These cameras were commonly used to document NASA launches and ballistics tests, so it may have an even more colorful history than that implied by its Hollywood pedigree. At the very least, it's an impressive piece of filmmaking history!
